Eminem celebrates 10 years of Successful music

Eminem celebrated 10 years of sobriety on Saturday ahead of his Coachella performance.
The 45-year-old rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, took to social media to post a photo of a sobriety coin marking his decade-long journey.
“Celebrated my 10 years yesterday,” The Real Slim Shady rapper captioned the photo.

The coin, which is given to Alcoholics Anonymous members when they’ve hit a milestone, features a Roman numeral X on it along with the words “service,” “unity,” and “recovery.”
Rapper Royce Da 5’9 took to Twitter to congratulate Eminem on his accomplishment. “Happy sobriety birthday to my mentor @Eminem … Keep fighting the good fight homie … I love you for life,” he wrote.
Eminem had nearly died from an accidental overdose in 2007. The 8 Mile actor opened up about his history with addiction in an interview with Men’s Journal in 2015.
“In 2007, I overdosed on pills, and I went into the hospital,” he said. “I was close to 230 pounds. I’m not sure how I got so big, but I have ideas. The coating on the Vicodin and the Valium I’d been taking for years leaves a hole in your stomach, so to avoid a stomach ache, I was constantly eating — and eating badly.”
He said that he was able to stay clean by focusing on exercise. “When I got out of rehab, I needed to lose weight, but I also needed to figure out a way to function sober,” he shared. “Unless I was blitzed out of my mind, I had trouble sleeping. So I started running. It gave me a natural endorphin high, but it also helped me sleep, so it was perfect. It’s easy to understand how people replace addiction with exercise. One addiction for another, but one that’s good for them.”

The Revival rapper checked himself into rehab in 2008 and started the 12-step program. In 2009, after a five-year hiatus from his music career, he released the album Relapse.
In 2010, Eminem released his album Recovery, which featured the songs Won’t Back Down featuring Pink, Not Afraid and Love the Way You Lie featuring Rihanna.
The rapper explained to the New York Times what his album Recovery referred to in 2010.
“I used to get pills wherever I could. I was just taking anything that anybody was giving to me,” he said, also specifying that he previously was a regular user of Vicodin, Valium, Ambien and methadone.
He also told the publication that his weekly visits with a rehab counselor, as well as his children, helped contribute to keeping him sober.
Since his return with 2009’s Relapse and 2010’s Recovery, Eminem has avoided the spotlight for the most part. His latest album Revival was released in December 2017.

office crown.

Disney-Marvel’s “Black Panther” has maintained its momentum at the domestic box office, winning its fifth consecutive weekend with $27 million from 3,834 locations.
Alicia Vikander’s “Tomb Raider” finished second in its opening weekend in line with expectations with $23.5 million from 3,854 sites for Warner Bros. and MGM. Lionsgate-Roadside Attractions’ faith-based drama “I Can Only Imagine” outperformed forecasts with $17.1 million at 1,629 venues.

“Black Panther” has become only the seventh title to pass the $600 million milestone at the North American box office, and is the second-fastest film to do so. It’s the fourth-highest fifth weekend of all time, and the first time a film has held the top spot for five weekends in a row since 2009’s “Avatar.”
The overall box office took in about $130 million, down 50 percent from the same weekend last year when Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” opened with $174.5 million. Thanks to “Black Panther,” the year-to-date box office is up 2 percent over the same period a year ago at $2.5 billion, according to comScore.

Man City beat Arsenal again 3:0

Man City beat Arsenal again 3:0

Manchester City produced a scintillating performance to comprehensively beat Arsenal for the second time in five days and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 16 points.
With just 10 games remaining, City need five victories to clinch the title."We are close. It's in our hands, we can't deny it," manager Pep Guardiola said."These are the last steps to be champions. You keep going until the end."

After beating the Gunners 3-0 in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, City dominated in a toxic atmosphere at a half-full Emirates Stadium.Bernardo Silva opened the scoring in the 15th minute, beautifully curling in a left-footed strike into the far corner after Leroy Sane's mazy run.David Silva finished off a fine team move in the 28th minute for City's second before Sane did the same five minutes later.
Arsenal had the opportunity to cut the deficit shortly after half-time but Ederson saved Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's penalty."We played with low confidence, you could see that at the start of the game and we paid for it," Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said."We lost to a team that is the best in the country at the moment."The result sees City pull further away from Manchester United at the top of the table and marks Guardiola's 100th game at the club with a win.Arsenal, meanwhile, stay sixth, 10 points off the top four.

Sarkodie Diss Patapaa the "One Corner "hit maker on radio

Sarkodie who talks about how
he made it from grass to grace in the song added that Patapaa would have performed at his funeral if he had not made money in life.

Whiles some critics argue that Sarkodie deliberately repeated those lines to ‘push’ the “One Corner’ hitmaker to the ground, others say it’s a normal thing in showbiz industry.

However, speaking on Accra-based Xylofon FM on Monday, Patapaa revealed that he sees it as an honor to have his name used in the song, even though Sarkodie meant it as a diss to him.

“It’s not easy for Sarkodie to mention your name in his rap. Which means that God is making ways for me in the industry. Because If Sarkodie wants no one either than Patapaa to perform at his funeral then it means that the man has a vision about me,” he said.
